Remembrance – We shall remember them

Remembrance Sunday Services – 11th November

This year marks 100 years since the end of the first world war. During our remembrance service we think of the bravery of those who fought, lived and died during the first world war and conflicts around the world since. We continue to honour those who serve, died and are affected by conflict both at home and overseas. In particular we will be giving thanks for peace and the sacrifice of so many who died to achieve this.

We will be marking this at St Barnabas in the following ways:

9 am – Short Said Communion

10:20 am – Opening of the Garden of Remembrance

10:40 am – Service of Remembrance
