We Care About Community

We recently conducted a community survey to find out what people thought were the needs of the local community, as well as where the local community thought we should invest our resources.

In drawing conclusion from the results we wanted to identify something that will change the lives for the better and have long term effects within the whole community. Our planning revolves around this aim:

‘To help create stable and loving family units (including children and youth) and caring for the elderly, with a particular emphasis on addressing issues of mental health and loneliness across the area.’

We are linked with a number of different services, charities and organisations working in the local and wider community

Street Pastors – Offering safety, reassurance and support to those working or enjoying the night life of Winchester.

Parish Visiting – A team of volunteers who visit those in need of company in the local community.

Boaz Project – A provision for those leaving full time education with learning disabilities.
