Beehive

Beehive is a friendly social club for retired people. We meet every Wednesday in the church hall at 11.00 am.

We enjoy a fun programme with games (such as Rummikub and Scrabble), crafts and music – and, of course, conversation. Wonderful friendship and laughter is shared and we have occasional outings.

Whether it’s your first time, or you’d like a relative to join, or you haven’t been able to come for a while – you’ll be sure of a very warm welcome!

7th Feb – Beehive’s 10th Anniversary Celebration.

14th Feb – Pancakes. Ash Wednesday Communion Service at 12.45pm.

21st Feb – Coffee, games and chat.

28th Feb – Coffee, games and chat.

6th March – Coffee, games and chat. No communion.

13th March – Coffee, games and chat. No communion.

20th March – Trip to Hilliers at Botley for shopping and lunch.

27th March – Easter Crafts and Sale of Works.

3rd April – Coffee, games and chat. No communion.

10th April – Coffee, games and chat. No Communion.

17th April – Exercises with Cathy.

24th April – Coffee, games and chat.

1st May – Coffee, games and chat.

8th May – Coffee, games and chat.

15th May – Fish and Chips.

22nd May – Coffee, games and chat.

29th May – Coffee, games and chat. No communion.

Advanced notices: 
– From 1st April our weekly fee will rise from £2.00 to £3.00.
– Wednesday, 19th June: Annual trip to the seaside.

We meet at 1.00 pm most Wednesdays. There is usually a Communion Service in the Trussell Chapel afterwards to which everyone is welcome. If you are staying for Communion you may wish to bring your lunch to eat at the end of Beehive and before Communion.
